Editor of the Week

Editor of the Week | |
Your ongoing efforts to improve the encyclopedia have not gone unnoticed: You have been selected as Editor of the Week in recognition of your great contributions! (courtesy of the Wikipedia Editor Retention Project) |
User:HouseBlaster submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:
- MSGJ is the architect behind many Lua modules that are used by editors every single day without them even noticing it. From WikiProject banners to authority control to WikiProject banner shells, he does a lot! He is proactive with maintaining the code he wrote, is responsive to requests for additional features, and crucially helps users (like me!) who are attempting to use the modules in their own template creations. In addition, he provides the technical work and expertise to make complicated, high-use templates more user-friendly. And I would be remiss if I did not mention his work implementing the recent articles->pages moves. This nomination was seconded by User:TechnoSquirrel69, User:QuicoleJR, User talk:Queen of Hearts and User:Hawkeye7

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Subtemplates of WPBannerMeta
[edit]
A tag has been placed on Category:Subtemplates of WPBannerMeta indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 18:56, 26 March 2025 (UTC)
- @Liz: this category is under discussion at CfD so I have replaced the speedy deletion template with the appropriate CfD template. Thanks — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 22:09, 26 March 2025 (UTC)

- Yes of course. We are also discussing setting up a page where requests like this can be made. You can make a comment at Wikipedia:Village pump (idea lab)#Site-wide assessment page if you wish, which would be helpful from a "customer's" point of view — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 07:53, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
